基金會組織簡介

基金會始自5位台大教授的夢想與跨領域合作，從植物、地質、昆蟲、氣象與生態工法等面向，成功守住都會開發的生態衝擊而來。目前基金會董監事會有21位董事、5位監察人及4位顧問(皆為無給職)，成員多數為來自學術界資深且菁英的學者，以及關懷環境議題的企業家、為永續生態環境努力不懈的非營利組織領導人。

基金會運作由執行長領導，並設有2位副執行長佐理會務運作；秘書處有4位同仁及數位約雇人員，執行有關大安森林公園本會各項認養業務、環境教育推廣及認養區的經營維護。

現任執行長由本會常務董事、國立台灣大學生農學院名譽教授楊平世擔任。

Foundation Overview 

The Foundation traces its roots to the shared vision and collaborative efforts of five professors from National Taiwan University. With a focus on interdisciplinary approaches, the Foundation has effectively addresses the ecological challenges posed by urban development, while drawing on disciplines spanning botany, geology, entomology, meteorology, and ecological engineering, among others. Presently, the Foundation's board of directors comprises 21 directors, 5 supervisors, and 4 advisors—all serving voluntarily. Among them are esteemed scholars from academia, environmentally conscious entrepreneurs, and leaders of non-profit organizations committed to fostering the development of sustainable ecological environments.

The Foundation is led by the executive director and supported by two deputy executive directors, who manage its operations. The secretariat consists of four staff members along with several contracted employees who oversee a range of tasks related to the adoption of new initiatives, the promotion of environmental education, and the management of adopted areas within Da’an Forest Park.

The current executive director is Mr. Yang Ping shi , who also serves as the executive director of the Foundation and is an Emeritus Professor at the College of Bioresources and Agriculture, National Taiwan University.
